Peace one day
When I posted this video, yesterday it was peace day. We watched this clip in the hall with the whole school. We, too bad, weren’t allowed to play football because of the pouring rain. But we will hopefully do this next year. Peace one day is a really important day in the year. All the wars stop for one day, and people are allouwed in the country to supply food and water. The world is also very close to eliminating tuberculosis. IT is really easy to cure. Just put a few drops of a medicine in your mouth and you are done. This may sound easy, but if we can't reach those people in counties with war, we can't eliminate it. So in this one day, thousand of doctors are standing ready by the border, run in. Give everybody they see this medicine. keep this going for 24 hours without rest. And get out before the 24 hours are over. And that's why Peace One Day is so important

Emma, good work getting this You Tube video embedded in your blog, as well as the Google Doc. Can you try to reduce the width of your video, and increase the width of the doc? It is important to try and fit all elements into the available space.
ReplyDeleteAlso, for Library Thing, I can see where it is supposed to appear, but cannot see it yet. Please let me know if you need help getting it to work.
Remember, most of the marks in this project are available for conveying what you have learned, and how you have learned it. Even though you have lots of items in here, there is not much about your learning.
Very good video choice. Relative to what is happening at school and around the globe.
